How to order a custom piñata

Made by hand in Houston, Texas. Here is exactly how it works, start to finish.

Ordering a one of a kind, handmade piñata is easier than you think. Every piñata we make is built to order, so it is unique to your celebration. Here is the whole process in five steps.

1. Choose your theme

Start with an idea. It can be a character, a logo, an animal, a favorite artist, a school mascot, or a color scheme. Browse our Shop Piñatas page for inspiration, or describe something brand new. If you have reference photos, keep them handy. You can attach them right to the order form.

2. Pick your size

We offer three heights, 26 inches, 36 inches, and 48 inches tall, with a 3 inch or 6 inch border frame. Not sure which to choose? Our piñata size guide walks you through it. You can also add a name banner from $5 and a 36 inch piñata stick from $9.

3. Submit the order form

Fill out our quick order form with your theme, size, event date, and contact info. Add any reference photos and let us know if you have a budget in mind. There is no commitment yet, just tell us what you are dreaming up.

4. Get your quote

We review your request and reply within 5 business days with pricing and a timeline. Most custom piñatas start around $55 and go up from there depending on size and detail. Once you approve, we get to work by hand.

5. Pickup or shipping

Please order 3 to 8 weeks in advance, since every piñata is made to order. When it is ready, pick it up locally in Houston, TX, or we will ship it anywhere in the United States.

A few quick tips

  • Order early for busy seasons like birthdays, graduation, Halloween, and Cinco de Mayo.
  • Bigger events and corporate or bulk orders are welcome. Just mention your quantity.
